Research Positions

IIC, Inc. frequently recruits for entry-level research assistants. These positions are open to recent college graduates and those with a bachelor’s degree who have one to four years’ experience. Candidates should have a BA or BS with exceptional analytic skills, strong academic records, and coursework and/or experience in economics, statistics, finance, accounting, econometrics, and computer programming, and proficiency in Word and Excel and knowledge of Access as well as experience using statistical software. Research assistants provide research analysis and advice to clients, and support our senior staff. Work may include designing and building quantitative models and applying econometric analysis to economic and financial data; collecting market, industry, company, and competitor information; reviewing, summarizing, and analyzing industry trends; managing large data sets and writing programs to implement complex analyses; creating trial exhibits; drafting memos, expert reports, and presentation materials; and participating in client and team meetings and conference calls.
