IIC, Inc. works closely with attorneys and other clients involved in various legal and regulatory proceedings. We assist counsel by developing and explaining economic and business theories concerning the behavior of firms, industry structure and performance, and often we provide expert testimony on such issues. Members of our staff have provided expert testimony in a variety of settings such as congressional hearings, regulatory authorities, and state, federal, and tax courts. We also support the work of nationally renowned academic economists who provide expert testimony on these issues. Our experience spans a wide range of cases including antitrust, merger, economic damages, contract dispute, valuation, arbitration and mediation, and regulatory proceedings.
As part of our work we also assist clients in managing the litigation process, working from discovery through trial, providing assistance in drafting interrogatories, structuring the case, assisting in the deposition process, development of trial outlines and expert testimony, and cross examination of opposing experts. We also apply our expertise in working on large, complex cases and with automated document databases and retrieval systems to vastly improve the efficiency of the litigation process and allow attorneys to focus on winning the case.
