Peter K. Ashton
Peter K. Ashton is a founder of Innovation & Information Consultants, Inc. and serves as its president. Prior to founding Innovation & Information Consultants, Inc., Mr. Ashton was a senior consultant with Putnam, Hayes & Bartlett, Inc. and Charles River Associates Incorporated. He has directed major consulting projects for private clients as well as in the public sector. Mr. Ashton’s primary fields of expertise are valuation studies, transfer pricing, energy economics, analysis of damages, regulatory and antitrust economics and labor economics.
He has testified as an expert witness on numerous occasions in federal district court, various state courts, before federal and state regulatory authorities, U.S. Tax Court, U.S. and state legislatures, and he has served as an expert before various arbitration and mediation boards and panels. Mr. Ashton received an A.B. degree in Economics and Political Science from Colby College (magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa) in 1976, and received an M.I.A. degree in International Economics and Business from the School of International Affairs at Columbia University in 1978. Mr. Ashton is a member of the American Economic Association and the Southern Economic Association.
