Lee O. Upton III

Lee O. Upton III, a principal of IIC, Inc., has managed data collection and financial and economic modeling efforts for a number of clients. He specializes in performing economic and statistical analyses pertaining to the analysis of various industries, and has performed numerous valuation studies of businesses, tangible and intangible assets, and equity shares. He is proficient in the analysis of industrial market behavior and the computation of damages in antitrust and other litigation matters. He has also developed and used large transaction-related databases and applied these in the evaluation of pricing behavior and the development of damages models. Mr. Upton’s primary fields of expertise are transfer pricing, intellectual property valuation, energy economics, statistical modeling, and regulatory and antitrust economics.

Mr. Upton received a B.S. in physics from Wake Forest University, an M.S. in physics from Emory University, and an M.B.A from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College.  Mr. Upton is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society and the United States Association for Energy Economics.
